I flew a U.S. Army veteran around Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada. He said:

“Thank you very much. I was stationed on Nellis AFB in ’52 and ’53. I tried to see where I worked, but it has been so long. I am holding onto this e-mail to look at many more times. Thank you again.”

The father of a family friend was stationed in the Australian township of Townsville, Queensland, during the Second World War. I took a Piper Arrow III around the area, which he had visited with his son not too long prior.

“Very, very cool! Thank you! Tons of fun to see all the familiar landmarks. The plane flew directly over where my dad’s gun was. We saw JCU, Castle Rock, Magnetic Island and so many other places we know well. Bloody fabulous. Can’t wait to show Cal! Thanks!”
